Our organization is built on the idea of "binhi" (Filipino and Sinug for "seed") and aptly reflects our collective vision of a community like a growing tree, and the need to build stronger foundations for sustainable peace and positive change.
When a vision is deeply rooted in its culture, faith, and humanity, the process (trunks and branches) and its fruits (benefits, outputs, outcomes, impacts, futures) will be something that people will recognize as their own, through their own efforts and by their own will.
The community determines which binhi or seeds to plant. The community nurtures what they need to benefit from. The community perseveres for the prospects or promises of what they have planted. The community collectively benefits from its fruits.
