Binhi joins in the observance of 2021 ICT Month

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is vital to state- and nation-building. It is an accelerator of growth across sectors of development. As we are now in the 21st century, our economy and socialization, in the midst of the pandemic, is accelerated online thanks in part to ICT, particularly innovations in the world wide web, mobile communication, and artificial intelligence. This is aptly captured in this year's theme, "Onwards Through ICT: Building a Stronger Philippine Digital Economy”.

ICT is also important in government. ICT in government means promoting and developing integrated and strategic systems that are reliable and efficient. We join in the vision of improving, widening, and deepening access to public services through ICT.

We also recognized that there are certain things we need to push through ICT and not just take things for granted, such as human rights, privacy and safety, and affirmative actions for disadvantaged sectors.

Binhi joins in the celebration of WATCH Month

Binhi joins in the celebration of W.A.T.C.H. (We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty) Month.

We believe there is a need to instill deeper awareness of honesty and punctuality in society as it will contribute to corrupt-free governance and society.

Binhi joins in the observance of Sea Transportation Safety Month (June 2021)

We are in an archipelago and our vast seas are our highways to the world. We are sandwiched by the mighty Sulu and Sulawesi (Celebes) seas. We move through different modes of seacrafts, from the smallest bangka to the inter-island passenger and cargo ships.

Binhi joins in the observance of Sea Transportation Safety Month (June 2021) per Proclamation No. 115-A, s. 1966, so that we propagate safety consciousness among our people every day of the year as a positive preventive approach to a problem that can be solved by more caution, vigilance, sobriety, the exercise of common sense, and respect for the law.
